I'm driven by a passion to teach God’s Word in clear and applicable ways and to train up the next generation of Christian pastors, ministry leaders, and faithful followers of Jesus. I currently pursue my passion by serving as the Teaching Pastor of the Christian Church of Olney. I am also Faculty and the Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program at Calvary Chapel University. Additionally, I serve as an Adjunct Faculty member at Phoenix Seminary, my alma mater. And I'm the Lead Educator at The Rugged Truth.

 

I have served in vocational pastoral ministry for 36 years. I've also been teaching courses on the Bible, theology, ancient near eastern history and pastoral leadership at Christian universities and seminaries on four continents for the past 24 years.

I'm a voracious reader and writer with new book projects and online content coming out regularly. My YouTube channel is simply called Dr Bryan Fergus.

 

I earned my Doctor of Ministry degree from Phoenix Seminary, writing a dissertation entitled The Intersection of Analytic Theology and Catechesis.

 

I live with my wife, Stacy, in Southern Illinois.
